CliniNote has signed an agreement with Novartis to implement a digital solution for oncology hospitals. The first hospital to engage in the venture and define the assumptions of the pioneering solution is the M. Kopernik Regional Multispecialty Center for Oncology and Traumatology (WWCOiT) in Lodz.

The cooperation is to relies on the implementation of the CliniNote system, which makes it possible to structure medical notes in terms of data for calculating evaluation metrics and monitoring key indicators of the quality of care for breast cancer patients at WWCOiT.

Reporting of the above indicators is a requirement defined within the guidelines for the centers of the National Oncology Network established as part of the National Oncology Strategy, whose goal is particularly to improve standards of care for cancer patients. With the support of partners, WWCOiT has initiated preparations for reporting metrics and conducted tests in hospital conditions. The agreement signed between WWCOiT, Novartis, and CliniNote is part of a broader program aimed at improving standards of care for breast cancer patients, involving the gradual inclusion of additional centers.

Novartis Poland will be responsible for overall coordination of the effort.

- CliniNote's technology allows the company to work with clinical data in real time, identifying and appropriately recording data as soon as it is created - prospectively. Information can be accessed as soon as the medical note is saved, making the flow of data easier and faster while saving doctors' time. Thanks to this innovation, our clients gain the possibility to obtain real-world data, so called real-world data, previously very difficult to access, and increase efficiency, e.g. automating data entry into eCRF in clinical trials or feeding registries or other systems, which today unnecessarily absorbs medical staff,"- says Robert Lugowski, CEO of CliniNote

Entering and analyzing medical data on a patient will no longer require spending a lot of time. The product is expected to enable the collection of structured information, as well as facilitate the work of doctors and medical personnel in creating medical documents and notes. The collected data can not only be used to calculate metrics, it is a valuable resource for scientific work, the development of new diagnostic methods and therapies, or work in the development of digital medicine, including artificial intelligence algorithms.

- We are very excited about the prospect of working with Novartis and CliniNote. When human lives are at stake, time and precision are of the utmost importance. New technologies, as in the case of CliniNote, will certainly make it possible to speed up and automate many processes. This will allow oncologists to focus on what is most important, which is working with patients, and the Center will have a structured database necessary to measure and monitor indicators of the quality of patient care. - says Magdalena Janus- Hibner, Deputy Director for Oncology Development and Organization Projects of the M. Kopernik Regional Multispecialty Oncology and Traumatology Center in Lodz.

CliniNote: Pioneering a Paradigm Shift in Healthcare Data

CliniNote, a Poland-based startup, is embarking on a transformative journey within the healthcare data industry. Created by a robust team of industry veterans and with its first institutional investment, CliniNote is poised to reshape how healthcare professionals work with clinical data.

CliniNote is addressing the challenges associated with collecting and processing clinical data, as crucial step for the seamless integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) into healthcare workflows. This forward-looking approach involves transforming established practices and elevating efficiency to new heights.

The CliniNote Assistant empowers medical personnel by simplifying clinical documentation processes while effortlessly capturing comprehensive real-world  data via a software plugin. This innovative approach enhances the efficiency of medical documentation preparation and enables the creation of a database of Real-World Data, previously considered unattainable, without placing additional burdens on doctors, altering existing processes, or requiring a dedicated integration with hospital information systems.

CliniNote's technology extends beyond clinical documentation, offering increased efficiency in various data processes within healthcare and pharmaceutical domains like the acceleration of clinical trials, a critical process.

"It’s our mission to resolve the enduring dilemma of balancing the need to save doctors' time with the imperative to collect more clinical data, which is crucial for the transformation of the healthcare industry. We firmly believe that our solution also effectively addresses the pressing issue of interoperability in the healthcare industry" Robert Lugowski, CEO of CliniNote, commented.

CliniNote has successfully closed tit’s initial financing round, led by CEE focused early stage VC Sunfish Partners with additional support from business angels including Katarzyna Pieniądz, Pawel Mańdok, Pawel Woźniak, Piotr Ruciński and Winicjusz Filipow among others.
